Do you work or volunteer?
Work Experience is a high school option course that provides credits for students who are working or volunteering in the Red Deer area.
For every 25 hours of work/volunteering, a student can receive one high school credit, up to a total of 15 (10 + 5) credits for their diploma/or more for their K&E Certificate of Achievement.
Note: There is a signing up process for the program before students can receive credits. This includes the registration/application process and meeting with your supervisor at the work site before hours can be counted.
Prerequisite requirement: HCS3000
If you are interested in the Work Experience program please see your mentor teacher or Ms. Kimberly Darling at Pines for more information.
